Alternate Program Choice Fees
If the fee for an alternate class you have listed is higher than the original class, pay the higher fee and the difference will be refunded, if appropriate, at the completion of registration.

Confirmation of Registration
Registration is processed live in real-time. You will receive a confirmation by mail only if you are wait-listed.

Important Definitions:

• Resident Rates: Rates paid by anyone who resides in and/or who pays taxes to the Wheaton Park District
  
  
• Non-Resident Rates: rates paid by anyone who does not pay taxes to the Wheaton Park District
  
  
• School District Resident Rates: rates paid by anyone who is a resident of School District #200 for only those programs conducted in school buildings or on school grounds
  
  
• Family: a family is parent(s) and any unmarried child(ren) 21 and under living at home. Children 22 and over living at home as well as any other relative or individual in the same household, would be considered individual residents.

Inclement Weather
Park district programs will not meet on days when District #200 classes are cancelled due to inclement weather.

No Space Available
If you register for a program and space does not open up, your payment is automatically refunded.

Photography/Video
By participating in any of our programs, you hereby authorize and give consent to the Park District to photograph/video your child (or self), and without limitation, to use such photographs/video in connection with promoting/advertising the services, programs, and facilities of the Park District, without consideration of any kind, including, but not limited to, the Park District’s website and Park District sponsored social media site(s).

Physician's Approval
Participants registering for activities of a strenuous nature are encouraged to seek a physician’s approval.

Returned Checks
A $25 service fee is charged for each returned check. Payment is required within ten (10) days of notification. Otherwise, the participant is removed from the class roster.

Waiver Signature Required
For insurance purposes, participation in Wheaton Park District programs and activities requires a signed waiver. Please sign the waiver section on the registration form(s) located in each brochure. By registering to participate in these Recreation Programs, each resident realizes the inherent risks involved in the program and appreciates the nature of these risks. The applicant holds the park district harmless for any damage caused by participation in these programs. The park district provides no medical insurance. If you choose to fax your signed waiver, your faxed signature will be considered as an original signature.
