Tips for Camper Attire
Campers will be very active during each day of camp. Black shirts absorb heat/sunlight - wear light colors. Please do not wear good clothes that you want to keep clean. Campers will be sweating, getting wet and muddy sometimes, and will be using paint and other craft items. Sun screen, bug spray and a hat will be very useful, as well. Tennis shoes, no sandals are necessary for your child to run, play and safely explore during camps. Camp staff is not permitted to apply sunscreen to your child. Please send your child with sunscreen on.

Campers will only be released to authorized individuals. Please be prepared to give names and phone numbers of authorized individuals to the counselors on the first day of camp.
Late Charge
There will be a $1 per minute late charge, payable immediately for children left past the end of camp. If you will be late, please call the camp and speak with the director or assistant director.
Severe Weather
If a severe storm takes place during the time your child is at camp the directors and counselors will secure the children in their cabin until the threat has passed. If the storm occurs at the end of camp we will not release any campers until the threat has passed. This policy is for the campers, staff and your safety.
Absences
As a courtesy, please call us if your child will miss a day of camp due to illness, vacation, appointment, etc. If your camper will be missing a few days of camp, please send a note ahead of time to the camp director.
Swimming at Camp
If your child will be swimming at camp please send a towel and bathing suit on the assigned days your camp will be swimming. (See below) Campers are responsible for their own belongings and suntan lotion application. Please clearly label all items sent to camp, and send them in a labeled bag. Camp staff will not be responsible for any lost articles of clothing, towels, etc.
All campers are required to pass a swim test in order to swim in the deep end of the pool. They are tested on the first day of each session of camp that they attend.
Assigned Swimming Days:
- Camp Illini Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Mean Camp Green Monday - Thursday
- Camp No Name Monday - Thursday
- Camp Goodtimes (PM only) Tuesday and Thursdays
