Class Descriptions:

All In One
This 1/2 cardio, 1/2 sculpting class will get you in, out and on with your day!

Body Blast Boot Camp (Not part of the Flex pass)
Do something fun in the great outdoors this summer! This intense class meets at Seven Gables Park and is for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. Your certified instructor guides you through drills to improve muscle tone, cardiovascular strength and flexibility – and helps you reduce body fat! Pre- and post-tests are done to measure your progress. Most equipment is provided; you’ll only need to bring a mat and hand weights to class. To participate in this class, you must sign the waiver on the registration form.

Ballet Workout
This 45-minute ballet-based toning and flexibility class is designed to develop long lean muscles, increase flexibility and improve posture. Classical music and graceful movement bring out the ballerina in you!

Body Sculpt
Firm and strengthen your entire body in our ever-popular weight training class. You'll use a variety of resistance (hand weights, tubing, bands, ect.) to challenge the muscles and create that toned body you've always dreamed of.

Cardio Kickbox
This aerobic workout combines punching and kicking techniques in an easy to follow, yet intense format. Build endurance, stabilization skills, and strong abs in this ultimate fat burning class.

Cardio Zone
Get that body moving! Calorie burning combos that are easy to learn, low impact but high intensity. A traditional style aerobic class with all the newest fun moves! Some classes may incorporate Step for variety.

Cardio Challenge
Up the stakes with our high intensity aerobic workout. This class challenges the body using more advanced choreography, but as always, is fun and easy to follow.

Power Sculpt
This strength training class incorporates full body movements to challenge the muscles and the cardio system. Come experience this dynamic conditioning class that focuses on developing total body power.

Preteen Sports Camp
(Ages 10-13 – Not part of the Flex Pass)
Give your children the skills needed to improve their athletic abilities. This three-week camp includes plyometric, strength and agility training, athletic/reaction drills and injury prevention. To participate in this class, you must sign the waiver on the registration form.

Pure Pilates
Get solid with this class of solid Pilates! We'll focus on creating long, lean incredibly strong muscles. Modifications are taught to accommodate beginning to advanced participants. Learn a new way to 'scoop' (no, not ice cream!) your way to health and fitness!

Senior Balance, Strength and Stretch
Improve balance and ward off osteoporosis in this relaxing yet challenging class. Using light resistance, we strengthen the body and focus on " functional fitness." Stretching exercises complete this great workout.

Spin Class
(Not included in Group Flex Pass, see Class Fees and Options for details.)
This 55 minute cycling class will have you working harder than you EVER thought possible in a group exercise class! You will be inspired by the music and instructor, who will lead you through a series of aerobic endurance intervals: flats, hills, strength and speed plays. Visualization through music and instruction will push your body to new limits. Just think what it will do for your lower body tone! Class size is limited, sign up today! Spin Classes are not part of the Flex Pass program. You may, however, sign up separately for this class only.

Street Yoga
Tune in and tone up with Joe Eddy's Hatha/Kripalu style of yoga that's easy to learn, easy to do, and easy to modify. It's for all ages, sizes and levels - especially beginners. Learn how to use everyday objects (tennis balls, rope, chairs, etc.) as equipment to modify and improve strength, flexibility, and fitness.

STEP Challenge
This class utilizes "tapless transitions" and more complex choreography to really get the body moving. Optional power and propulsion techniques are offered to increase the intensity of the workout. Abdominal exercises included.

Step Express
This cardio workout utilizes an adjustable platform that you step up, down and around with choreographed movements.

STEP Interval
Get it done all in one. This class alternates between Step cardio and resistance training for a total body workout, all the while keeping your heart rate up. Ratios may vary from class to class.

Tone 'N' Tighten (TNT)
Firm and strengthen the entire body in this 45-minute express class. Using a variety of resistance, this class gets you looking "dynamite" in no time.

Total Body Workout
This class is the ultimate cross trainer. We challenge your agility, speed, strength, and endurance through easy to follow cardio drills and resistance training. All fitness levels welcome.

Ultimate Abs
This quick core workout completes any fitness routine or can be your warm-up!

The Ultimate Challenge
This class is designed to give you the best of both cardio worlds. A heart-pounding workout that incorporates Step and aerobics, followed by abdominal work. A great, fun way to finish off your week or start your weekend.

Yoga Butt, Back and Abs
Get tight yet relaxed, in this intermediate class for the experienced yoga student. This class will focus on more advanced Hatha yoga postures, and you will learn to love those three little words..."hover, hover, hover!"

Yoga Mixer
Open to all--from beginner to advanced. Start with what you are able to do, then advance at your own pace, using slow controlled movements to strengthen and stretch your muscles through a series of poses called asanas. Relieve stress and calm the mind by learning deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

Yogalattes
Get the best of mind/body workouts with this class that incorporates the best moves from Yoga and Pilates. Class is taught at an intermediate level, but modifications are given to suit beginners as well as advanced participants.

Zumba!
Zumba combines high energy, motivating music with unique dance combinations from Latin & other international dance styles. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements and easy-to-follow dance steps that will maximize your calorie output, fat burning & total body toning. It literally takes the "work" out of your "workout!"
