Lend-A-Hand Days
Lincoln Marsh Natural Area covers more than 140 acres of
wetland, woodland and prairie ecosystems that require special care. Volunteer your time and assist Wheaton Park District staff to preserve and restore biodiversity to the natural area communities. Lend a hand with exotic and invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, planting, seeding, seed collection, trash removal, and more!

Important Details
- Preregistration is necessary–we need to know how many to expect!
- A Wheaton Park District Volunteer Application & Waiver is required for each volunteer:
- All ages (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Project depends on season
- Inclement weather cancels a project
- All tools are provided
When?
- Second Saturday of each month, 8:30-10:30 am
Do you have a group that is interested in a service project but Saturday morning doesn’t fit your schedule? Contact us for other options; we will do our best to accommodate you!
Please bring work gloves if you have them; all other tools provided.
