 Archery
Ready, aim, fire! Develop the Olympic sport of archery with National Archery Association instructors who teach the accurate and safe way to handle and shoot a bow and arrow.

- Beginning Archery 1-The Basics – In this four session course, learn the basics of archery including how to use equipment, master range safety, the proper stance, and draw and release of arrows. Register Now »
Canoeing
Canoeing is held at the lagoon in Northside Park. Programs teaching the basics of canoeing are offered to ages 8-Adult in the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.
Programs offered:
- Basic Canoeing - a four session course exploring strokes, maneuvers, and equipment usage. Go to online registration »
- Jumpstart Canoe – a quick 2 hour lesson teaching the basic parts and purposes of the canoe, paddle, and PFDs, the forward stroke, reverse stroke, draw, and pushaway, how to enter and exit the canoe safely, and how to drive your canoe in a straight line. Go to online registration »

Geocaching
New to the Lincoln Marsh! Explore the essentials of hand-held GPS units and find hidden treasures in the Lincoln Marsh. Programs are offered to families and individuals, ages 6 – Adult in all seasons.

Snowshoeing
Enjoy the beautiful winter scenery at the Lincoln Marsh by walking on top of the snow! Learn about snowshoeing and take a trek through the trails.

Team Adventure Camp
Head out to the Lincoln Marsh for a camp filled with adventure education activities! Each camp adventure begins at the Lincoln Marsh and may include travel to another location within the park district or offsite for field trips. Camps are offered during the summer season.
