The Nature Discovery Program is a cooperative effort between the Wheaton Park District and the Wheaton Public Library. The backpack activities and discovery guides were developed by park district interpretive staff. Wheaton Public Library staff researched book selections and maintain this unique collection.

This program was made possible by a generous donation from the Alcoa Foundation to the Partners for Lincoln Marsh, an affiliate of the Cosley Foundation. Thanks to their monetary contribution, thousands of Wheaton residents will be able to discover the wonders of nature for years to come.
