Wild at the Zoo

The best family event ever…and it’s free! Come out to the zoo for a day of family fun. Learn about the animals we depend on every day, as well as the wild ones that live around us. Touch a snake or turtle, watch a sheep shearing demonstration, visit with a veterinarian and others who work with animals. There are crafts to make, animals to meet, and lots to see and do. Some activities may have a small fee. Additional parking is available at Sandburg School on Jewell Road and at Hofner and Hofner at the corner of Prairie and Gary.
