Daddy Daughter Princess Ball 
Dads and daughters make a special memory at the Princess Ball. Girls receive a carnation corsage and crown on arrival. Commemorative photos are taken during the first hour. (Collect your photo that night or at the Community Center the following Monday.) Guests enjoy great music, dancing, craft projects, a sundae bar and a surprise princess visit!

Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever
In partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the DuPage County Historical Museum is excited to present this exhibit in celebration of the organization’s 100th Anniversary. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the Girl Scouts of the USA continues to inspire millions of young girls. This exhibit will highlight the past 100 years using uniforms, photos and artifacts from the Girl Scouts’ collection. Come see this important part of history and share your own memories of this wonderful organization!

Rent-a-Bunny

"Rent a Bunny" for your holiday party! Add extra holiday cheer to your party with a 30-minute visit from a friendly costumed Bunny. After you register, a staff member will contact you to set up the date and time.

Easter Bunny Home Visits
Have your camera ready when the Easter Bunny arrives at your home carrying a basket filled with goodies for your child! We’ll call to let you know the bunny’s arrival time during the week of March 28. Open to Wheaton residents only. Parents must register all children receiving baskets. $12 each.

Used Sports Equipment Sale

The Wheaton Park District is hosting a new and gently used sports equipment sale. Sale proceeds benefit the park district’s Leisureship Program which was developed to make aquatic facilities and recreation programs available to all Wheaton Park District residents regardless of their economic situation.
Donations of new and gently used sports equipment including soccer balls (size 3, 4 & 5), shin guards, baseball and softball gloves, aluminum and wooden bats, and baseballs and softballs are being accepted at the Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard Road, beginning January 2, 2012 through March 3, 2012.
Equipment donations may also be dropped off at Arrowhead Golf Club, 26W151 Butterfield Rd., Wheaton

Great Egg Scramble
Come to Cosley Zoo for an egg-cellent time and get ready to scramble for eggs and other trinkets. In addition to an egg scramble, participants will have the opportunity to meet some of the zoo's residents and take part in other activities. So bring your baskets to the zoo for a hopping good time! Children are divided into age groups for the scramble based on enrollment. Groups are scheduled consecutively. Pre-registration is required. This event is held outdoors rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Please plan on staying with your child; this is not a drop-off program.

Party for the Planet
Join us at Cosley Zoo as we take part in the largest combined Earth Day celebration. More than 100 other zoos and aquariums will be celebrating across North America! Visit with representatives from businesses and conservation organizations and learn about a wide variety of conservation efforts related to energy, water and wildlife. Help us celebrate conservation successes and enjoy a slice of Earth Day Cake and learn how you can make a difference at home!
