Saturday, June 6 at Memorial Park • 7:30 am Sharp!
The 28th Annual “Run for the Animals” 5K-10K race which is hosted by The Cosley Foundation, Inc. to raise funds for the development of new wildlife exhibits at Cosley Zoo. This is a CARA registered and champion chip timed race.


• 1/2 mile run for children ages 6 to 12
• $10 registration through June 1, 2009
• $15 registration June 2-6, 2009
• Race day registration from 6 to 7 am at Memorial Park
• First 250 participants receive T-shirts and all participants receive a finishing medal

Preregistration will be taken through Thurs., June 4 at the locations below and race brochures are available at:

4. Whole Foods, 151 Rice Lake Square

Early Registration through June 1, 2009 • 5K and 10K Run: $25/runner

Registration beginning June 2, 2009 (June 2-5) • 5K and 10K Run: $30/runner

On Friday, June 5, registration will be taken from 8 am to 2 pm only at: Whole Foods, 151 Rice Lake Square, Wheaton, IL

Race Day Registration
Race day registration is held from 6 to 7 a.m. in Memorial Park, at a cost of $35 per runner, at the tennis courts. Race day registrants do not receive a champion chip and do not have a race time posted in the official results.
• Race bibs are available for the first 3,000 registrants.
• T-shirts and runner goody bags are available for the first 2,500 registrants.

Prerace Packet Pickup*
– Tuesday, June 2-Thursday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
– Friday, June 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at
Whole Foods, 151 Rice Lake Square
*Please allow 24 hours for processing your registration before you pick up your runner packet.

Packet Pickup on Race Day
Runner packets are available at the tennis courts in Memorial Park from 6 to 7 a.m. on race day, Saturday, June 6.

T-shirts and Runner Packets
The first 2,500 registered runners receive a long-sleeved T-shirt and a runner packet.

Awards
Awards are given to…
• Overall 5K and 10K male and female finisher
• Top 5K and 10K Wheaton male and female finisher
• Top three 5K and 10K finishers in each age division

Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the success of the run. All volunteers receive a long-sleeved T-shirt and admission to Paws for Breakfast. If you’d like to volunteer, please call 630.668.3371.
