Cream of Wheaton
2008 marks the 27th Anniversary of the Wheaton Park Districts annual Cream of Wheaton family celebration. This all-day event traditionally draws more then 15, 000 people and features all the usual excitement and activity, plus a few surprises!
Schedule of Events
Friday Night, June 6
- U Rock - Friday Night Entertainment for Teens, 6-9pm in the Bandshell
- Carnival Rides, 6-9:30 pm on Karlskoga Avenue
Saturday, June 7
RUN for the ANIMALS
When: Sat., June 7 @ 7:30 am Sharp!
Where: Memorial Park
The Cream of Wheaton Festival begins with the 27th Annual Run for the Animals 5K-10K race which is hosted by The Cosley Foundation, Inc. to raise funds for the development of new wildlife exhibits at Cosley Zoo. This is a CARA registered and champion chip timed race.
New this year...

This 1/2 mile run is just for kids ages 6-12 (in conjunction with the Run for the Animals 5K/10K ). Tell all your buddies and sign up today! Proceeds benefit Cosley Zoo.

Wheaton Park District Bandshell, Memorial Park. 208 W. Union, Wheaton.
This Battle of the Bands is for any band meeting age and performance qualifications. Bands will be judged by a panel on the following criteria: Stage Presentation, Sound Volume & Clarity, Band Synchronization, Time Management, Song Quality & Originality, Stage Management, Band Enthusiasm & Attitude, and Audience Response. There will be one winner.
