Do you know a dynamic student or young person who is interested in health, physical activity, nutrition, and sharing with their peers or even adults about healthy lifestyles? Do you know a kid chef or kid athlete that would enjoy telling others about the healthy things they enjoy? Help us find students that will shape the work of FORWARD as Student Health Champions!
Nominations will be accepted through February 18th and can be made by an adult, the student themselves or their peers. Of course, parent consent and support for this student leadership role is need in order to make this a successful group. Students should have an interest in health and above all be a student who is a leader, even if they are still on the journey of living a healthy lifestyle and learning healthy behaviors. We’ll host a “kid-friendly” interview to determine the best candidates and then we plan to announce the members of FORWARD Student Champions at the Forward launch event on March 13 at Whole Foods in Wheaton.
