Location: Wheaton Park District, Community Center, 177 S Blanchard Road, Wheaton, IL 60187

Job Summary: Provide personal training service to clients and develop individual training program that fits the needs to the client. This is a part-time, year-round position.

Qualifications:
o B.S. degree in physical education, kinesiology or health education field preferred.
o Two years experience in teaching the use of exercise equipment and in exercise programming required.
o Possess excellent customer service skills.
o Pleasant and enthusiastic personality and ability to work with staff.
o Knowledge of exercise science, exercise programs and understanding of the benefits of exercising.
o Current CPR/First Aid certification.
o Certification from a national organization, preferably ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA or NASM.

Essential Duties:
o Develop a personal training program for members of Parks Plus Fitness Center who desire this individualized service.
o Perform fitness orientations and fitness assessments to new and existing clients.
o Provide assistance and support to members during scheduled floor hours.
o Develop client base, and schedules personal training sessions with clients.

Salary:
Competitive based on experience and qualifications

Hours:
Early AM and Mid PM to early evening
Tues thru Fri and rotating AM/PM shift on Sat.
Hours may change to meet demands as needed
