Location: Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard Rd, Wheaton, IL 60189

Job Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing and supervising of assigned staff and programs. This is a part-time position.

Qualifications:

• Two to three years experience in gymnastic/tumbling instructions
• Solid background in gymnastics/tumbling techniques and routines
• Energetic, creative, organized, and motivating

Essential Duties:

• Plan, organize, and implement basic instructions in tumbling, gymnastics, balance beam, vault, mini-trampoline and bars to boys and girls ranging in ages from 3-10
• Setting up equipment
• Develop lesson plans
• Maintain inventory of equipment and report damages
• Be an active participant in activities (demonstrations)
• Serve as a liaison between participants and park district
• Be a “mandated reporter” for the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act
• Be substitute for other instructors

Salary:
$15-$17.00 per hr

Hours:
20-30 hrs per week
Monday-Thursday- mornings & afternoons
Saturdays-mornings & early afternoons
