Location:  Various parks, ballfields, and schools in Wheaton (Atten, Jefferson, Hubble, Edison, Graf, Madison, and Hawthorne)

Job Summary:  Umpire Little League and softball games of the Wheaton Park District from April through July.

Qualifications:

• Must be age 14 by May 1, 2009.

Requirements:

• Training sessions provided free of charge at the Community Center for all league levels and age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Call balls and strikes.
• Keep game going and under control.
• Enforce Little League rules.

Salary:

• First Year:  $17 per game
• Second Year:  $19 per game
• Third Year:  $21 per game
• Fourth Year:  $23 per game
• Umpires over age 18:  $35 per game
• Patched Umpire:  $45 per game
• Bonus pay for those who umpire more than 20 games
