Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty to prepare banquet tables and deliver pre-arranged menus to groups of guests in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Prior banquet server experience required
• Service oriented personality
• Must be able to communicate in English and understand information using verbal, written, and listening skills
• Must be able to carry trays with 10 dinners
• Must be able to set tables, chairs, and rearrange furniture
• Must obtain and maintain Basset Certification after training

Essential Duties:

• Dependably come to scheduled work shift in a positive state of mind meeting dress and grooming standards for a professional appearance
• Assist bussing staff in removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning
• Securely transport food from main kitchen to specific banquet area either on trays or in warming containers
• Set and decorate buffets
• Serve individual plates of food and /or beverages to guests in a professional manner
• Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  

Salary:
$4.65 per hour, plus tips

Hours:
Varies, weekdays, evenings and weekends
