• Minimum eighteen years of age.
• Some experience in carpentry, maintenance or janitorial services preferred.
• Valid Illinois driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Essential Duties:

• Assist with cleaning interior, exterior and grounds while performing light maintenance.
• Assist with inventory, receipt and storage of custodial supplies.
• Assist with special events and fundraisers.
• Assist with building, exhibit and grounds repairs and report repairs as needed.
• Snow and ice removal.
• Collect garbage in buildings and on grounds.
• Operate tractor, utility vehicle, truck, power tools and other machinery.
• Interact with the public offering information, assistance, or control when necessary.
• Must be courteous and helpful to staff and public.
• Follow, administer, and implement Wheaton Park District policies and guidelines.

Salary:
$8.50-$9.50 per hour

Hours:
32 hours per week
Wed, Thurs, Fri & Sat 7:30am-4:00pm
