Senior Concession Attendant for Cosley Zoo (Part-time, Seasonal)

Location: Cosley Zoo, 1356 N. Gary Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187

Job Summary:  Oversee the concession operations, staff, patrons, and inventory.  This is a part-time seasonal position with hours between March-October.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Knowledge of food/concession operations and supervision skills preferred.

Essential Duties:

• Skilled in the use of concession equipment, following the guidelines in food service operations manual.
• Schedule and oversee concession attendants.
• Count, order, and re-stock inventory.
• Operate point of sales system and handle money
• Maintain the cleanliness of the concessions area both staff and public.
• Preparation and serving of food items.
• Oversee all opening and closing procedures.
• Report equipment problems or maintenance needs to Guest Service Supervisor.
• Follow, administer, and implement Wheaton Park District policies and guidelines.
• Assist with general clean-up of facility; special events; and attend staff in-service meetings.

Salary:
$9.00-$10.00 per hour

Hours:
Various – March-October weekends thru Christmas
June – August, Monday-Saturday
Between 9:30am-4:30pm
27-30 hrs wk
