Employment • Overview

The Wheaton Park District uses more part-time employees than most employers in DuPage County. Last year more than 900 area individuals, many under 21 years of age, found part-time work through the park district. Three basic requirements are enthusiasm, dedication and a pleasant attitude.

Wheaton Park District strictly adheres to a policy of nondiscrimination in all aspects of employment. These aspects include, but are not limited to, hiring, firing, promotion, training, compensation, and fringe benefits. In all areas, discrimination because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital or veteran status, the presence of a non-job related medical condition or disability, or any other legally protected status is strictly prohibited.

Applications for part-time jobs are accepted year round.
